This series provides in-depth information about the needs and challenges of many different patient populations, and how to engage with them. The Diverse Populations series will prepare your colleagues and students to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients. The series includes information about the elderly, pediatric patients and the physically and mentally disabled. Cultural competency, health literacy and care for the chronically ill also are covered.
Included in this product is a module of basic commands for radiographers, translated into French, German, Spanish, and Farsi. You will also receive four posters with tips clearly explaining principles of cultural competency and age appropriate care.
